Damaged Highways and Pavements
Footpaths, kerbs and roads can all become damaged over time and although the local council are required to maintain our highways in a good state of repair, sometimes, this is not always the case and incidents can happen which cause an injury.
Raised pavement, potholes in the road and broken kerbs are all potential injuries waiting to happen. If you see any of these, it is always best to report them to the local authority to prevent any accidents.
If you have been injured because of damaged or broken pathways and need medical treatment, you should still report the incident to the appropriate authority but personal Injury Experts may also be able to assist you in claiming compensation.
